One of the best giant monster movies to come out of the 1950s and 1960s, when such movies were the rage. Also one of the best man-in-suit monster movies -- the suit looks amazingly real. Oscar-winner ... Tom Howard features excellent split-screen work that makes Gorgo come to life next to his human co-stars. Also has one of the most original endings in giant-monster-movie history -- the monster not only lives in the end, he is rescued by a much bigger parent! Great atmosphere; few films capture urban panic as well as this one. Definitely worth checking out. Full Review
