Best movie I've seen in a long time

This movie is so good ..I cried at how some people can be racist,againist all ppl only to realize that at the end of the day we all the same the "HUMAN race".And everyone deserves respect...No matter where you come from.And that ones like that can be redeemed.

Way better than I thought it would be, funny as well as intense. One of the best films of 2008, liked it way better than the other Acadamy award nominees. Clint still rocks at 70+ years old!

I can tell you why it didn't get nominated for any awards....because the acting was HORRIFIC! Did we all watch the same movie? The first 20 minutes were funny, but after awhile it was just about watching Clint make racial remarks. Though many of those remarks were funny, I couldn't understand the editing. The dialog was written by a high school freshman I think. Every actor in that movie aside from Clint was atrocious. It was like an after-school special. I don't think Clint should ever retire, but the man can always hit a home run. This movie barely made it to first base on a wild throw.

This was a great movie from Mr. Eastwood, I highly recommend it. I don't know what movie the other person who rated it was watching? but this movie was definitely a 5 * * * * *

Excellent movie!! Interesting characters! Can't recommend it enough. Really makes you think. It is about change, hope, pride. I really enjoyed the actress who played Sue. She came across as a real natural.

My husband and I saw this movie last weekend - it was great! It ranks right up there with Dirty Harry. Clint never seems to change his personna in his movies, but that is what makes him so great. The ending was a shocker, but he still had the last say. Perfect story for these days...I'm sorry some people didn't get it. Maybe they want more Hollywood in their movies, but for me, down to earth real life situations mean more. Thanks Clint - hope you are Oscar bound on this one - it would certainly have my vote.

are you kidding? was that for real? this has to be the most ridiculous movie i have seen since the Postman. it should be recieving the raspberry. i love clint, but he was just plain ridiculous. the script was completely laughable. tha acting was horrid, the music was corny and the believability was void. i cant believe that people think that this is a genuinely good movie. its great for the ridiculous factor, but other than that it was a joke.
