Can't wait for the release of this movie as I have become enthralled with the lives of these two women. and getting their documentary from Netflix. I am still baffled by how their way of life came about and what happened to cause them to live like this. Anxiously awaiting fan

Just came across a comment stating that Grey Gardens release has been pushed back from 2009 to November of 08. Earlier release date is so it can get some buzz for the Oscars.

I am so anxious to see this new movie. After watching the special TV "documentary" of the family I was so impressed with the mother and daughter trying to care of each other with very little money or outside help.
Has there been any further announcements as to the release of this new movie? Thank you. -Paula
