The commercials aren't by Rodriguez and Tarintino! They're by Rob Zombie (Devil's Rejects), Eli Roth (Hostel), and Edgar Wright(Shaun of the Dead)!

This was the worst movie I have ever seen. It's all about a plague and the "good guys" shooting infected people. It has a "been there, done that" feeling - the movie really has no plot and it is to flippin long! I left with a group of people after 3 hours and it was still pointlessly going... Save your money! Quentin was on some major high when he thought up this movie - it just makes no sense! M I S E R A B L E !!!!!!

Grindhouse is the main reason why I love going to the movie theatre. Both films f-ing rocked! It makes you laugh at the most inapporiate moments, in disbelief at watch you just saw and makes you want to kick someone's 'butt' at the end. Planet Terror is so action packed, lots of gore and Cherry, lol. Death Proof has the BEST car chase scene I've ever witnessed and some kick'butt' chicks. Absolutely loved it!Quite worth forking over the money to see. If you want to actually EXPERIENCE a movie this is it. I practically almost jumped out of my seat . . . one of the best movie experiences I've ever had!

Both were fairly clever homages to the 70's films of their ilk. There were quite a few funny moments. I was a bit disappointed in both films, probably just based on high expectations. It was a pleasure to see two action/horror films completely devoid of computer generated effects. Definitely worth the price of admission for anyone who knows what they're in for, but both films will be quickly forgotten. Overall, a fine effort by two great film makers, but I have no desire to see either a second time. I preferred Rodriguez's Sin City by far to Planet Terror and doubt if Tarantino will ever surpass Kill Bill I

Did you all see the same movie I did? I found it to be one of the best movie experiences I have been to in quite some time so good in fact \nI am going to see it again the only thing I can think is that people have forgotten that real movies use to last 3 and 4 hours and had an intermission. 2 good movies by 2 excellent directors for one low price \nI have told all of my friends and coworkers to go see it.

These films were not at all what I thought they would be...I thought they would try to be scary but they both were completely fun. The style was amazing and I loved the fake movie trailers in the middle....lol...they were hysterical(especially THANKSGIVING). I love the cinematography. This was the most fun I have had at the movies in a long time. Go see it...need I say more?

I'll put it as simple as this. "Planet Terror" while obsecenely gory and a tad bit overly aimed at genitals, was entertaining and it kept me very interested throughout the film. The same cannot be said for "Deathproof." I consider myself a Tarantino fan, but this part was a waste of my time. Tarantino tried WAY too hard to be, well, Tarantino. He tried too hard to squeeze in clever, quotable dialogue that he forgot he still has a story to tell. The whole first 20 minutes were completely useless and there is a 15 minute discussion between girls that has absoultely no purpose aside from trying to garner up quotable dialogue. There will be no "royale with cheese" or "why i dont tip" again. Just write a movie Quentin. You know, advancing the plot, entertaining your audience. I give PT a 9/10, DP a 5

I had fun with Planet Terror. I really appreciated what it did to try to tip the hat to 70's horror movies, (lot's of gross-out moments, etc.) but it really just couldn't compare next to the cinematic genius of QT's Deathproof. The structure is interesting, and you really, really get on board with the characters... so much so, that it's really hard to watch at some points. You really get deeeply invested, and the payoff is so amazing, it left the crowd cheering. \n\nPlanet Terror is pretty fun, but you may as well skip it, and come in to see the grand finale in, "Deathproof".

Why soo much hype? These were just a new presentation of old ideas. The first film was entertaining and of course total fantasy but directed goringly well. I had to get up and LEAVE 30 minutes into the second film as it Haddent Done ANYTHING To that Point!!!!!
