This movie, pits an innocent couple against the strongest factor of humanity,Racial Discrimination; Poitier stars with Hepburn and Tracy. The cast is... fabulous, and the movie makes one think hard on our own selves.When a white young girl spends time with an African- American gentleman,her heart changes to Love. The viewer sees sparks fly,when they have to announce their engagement to the parents. John (Poitier) meets Joanna(Haughton), and they both have to test their love for each other.I thought Poitier's speech to his father was wisdom and honesty. John tells his father to look beyond "color" to see the basics of humanity. I applaud this film, and say Bravo to the cast for showing a dark side of Man we must avoid.Wonderful and Brilliant!
