I usually do not like musicals, but this one works. The music was great, and so were the song and dance routines. John Trovota was so amusing as the Mom, and boy could he dance! I laughed and then I even got choked up when Queen Latifa marched down the street and sang her song about race descrimination. There is a sutle message here on how we descriminate against people who are a different color than us and people who are overweight. Go see it if you want some light hearted fun.

I have no words to describe the enjoyment at watching "Hairspray." It is an excellent musical. The acting, the musical score, the script, the coreography, the fashions...; everything is A in my book! It's a fabulous, fun, engaging family movi, with a great message: blacks, whites, tall, short, thin, fat...we are all God's children.

THE MOVIE ROCK IT IS THE BEST MOVIE IVE SEEN ILIKE THE HOLE MOVIE.IT WAS SO COOL IT NEVER BORED ME WE ALL LAFTH WE ALL CRIED IT WAS SO ASOME .WE LOVED IT SO MUCH .

i love this movie...all the actors were great and zac efron was an excellent link.I have seen this movie 2 times in one week and would see it more if i could afford to..i love it.The songs are ones you just can't get out of your head...belive me!

I will also like to add that alot of people would like to see the movie, because it would make them feel like there apart of the movie. Even thow it is an old classic it still a great movie. Even my younger cousin loved the movie and he also idolies Zack Efron. But still all of the actors and actress are wonderful. They all are such great people, they deserve a prize for the acting skills. This move is the number

The best movie ever! They Scored about five stars according to me. My adivce is you buy the DVD and have a movie party with your Best Friend.Once again this movie ROCKS OUT LOUD

My b/f and I went to see Hairspray today and it was so much fun, we were bouncing in our seats! Love John Travolta! The music was great and it went by way too fast! Great movie!

Boy, I sure got something different from this show. Loved the music and the dancing but noted it was about tolerance and integration.
