i thought this movie was excellent (: rob zombie is a great writer and this movie was another success to me he basically made michael a more modern person than anything else. some things could have been left out like the amount of blood in that movie. but all in all this movie was a great work of art. too bad its the last one. and the thing that caught my attention was he took a different approach in the new one. so basically i dont really see it as a remake. it was better he went in a different direction and it was good to see something different than the same ol remakes. good job rob (:

Dislikes. 1. The pathological need for Zombie to place his wife in all his movies seriously detracted from what this movie could have been. The plot was diluted and weakened by him writing a story where her role was more prominent. 2. The plot was completely unbelieveable. 3. Zombie, MM does not grunt as he stabs people. 4. Zombie, everyone in the world should not be depicted as poor white trash. 5. Zombie, less blood, more creativity. MM following a ghost image played by Zombies wife was weak. Maybe a voice directing him would have been much more effective. 6. Let someone else write the plot, and zombie direct the movie. Halloween I overachieved compared to this tradegy. It was by far the worse Halloween, even worse than Halloween Resurrection. The franchise needs to go into a new direction. White trash insane people drowned in blood is not the psychological masterpeice the Halloween franchise is about.

This Movie Was Horrible. The cast was completely wrong and that ruined the movie. "Halloween" I dont think he realized what the movie was supposed to be ****************!!!! REFUND

I think Rob Zombie needs to find something similar to Devils Rejects. I think he's just stumped on how to top that one. So Halloween II.

Dana, you are a retard. Stop complaining by taking your 15 year old kid to a ROB ZOMBIE horror movie. Honestly now; have you seen house of a House of a 1000 corpse or house of rejects????? All his movies are very very explicit and gory thrown in with a lot of unnecessary vulgar language. BUT that all makes his movies the best horror flicks to date. ( in my opinion).

I love Halloween and John Carpenter's versions of the movie best. Rob Zombie could have made the previous movie sooo much better by leaving out the disgusting language. I don't mind a little cussing but come on, enough is enough. There are teenagers going to see this movie. My 15 year old neice went with me and the language embarassed me. I know I should have expected that with Rob Zombie. I think Halloween and MIchael Myers is over his head and he should just stick with the B grade horror flicks. He has no real talent as a director.
