It was not scary at all. The only good part was telling the history of M. Myers, but too many contradictions with the orginal. In the original, Myers killed girls because they looked like his sister. His parents did neglect him in original, but they were not white trash. Question: He is trying to find his baby sister, so he kills her friends? Zombie realy screwed things up by making Meyers more human because the five shots to his chest don't kill him much less slow down his upper body movements. I have come to realize that when the boobs come out, the writer, director, and producer is even admitting that the movie is bad. Once again--the long drought of bad horror movies continue.

your probably thinking that even though people said this movie was really bad, you want to go see it anyway because-well-its halloween. this movie was terrible. i literally fell asleep durring it. it was not scary. it was not entertaining. it did not have a good plot, And all the "backround info" on michael myers was just unnecasary and plain boring. all we needed to know was in the 1st halloween: he was a killer from the start. go see this if your out to see a documentary-NOT halloween!

....Rob must need the money in a big hurry....the quality of thought and effort going into this ....so called movie ...is along the lines of "the alamo...national treasure ...pearl harbor and christmas with the Kranks" ....bad bad and more of the same ...dont waste your time or money...watch some twilght zone ...rod serling ,and forget this movie was ever made . :(

Intense violence. Interesting history on his motivation. Most viewers are not picking up on the significance of the mask. It is a method of empowerment. Excellent action sequences and Zombie coveys the unstoppable evil that the child has manifested himself into. The changing of who and when the victims are dispatched is also very welcome. The only issue with the revision is that Zombie replayed too much of Carpenter's bad dialog and references to Halloween's sacrificial origins.\nA perfect horror film, thoroughly enjoyable.\nSoundtrack remark Carpenter's score in the first film becomes monotonous and repetitive-Zombies matches the timing of the film like a rock song.

I like zombie and all, but this was in the middle of bad and okay. There was alot of cursing. I liked how they show us how he became a killer, but they mad that part to long. The original was 100% better all the way. So i would give this 6/10. But it wasnt horrible, it just wasnt great, like the original.

the storyline gave good insight as to why Michael turned out the way he did.I closed my eyes for most of the movie(not because it was scary because it is NOT)due to the over the top gore in the movie.It got to be a little ridiculous.I don't think it's worth going to the theatre to see but ok for dvd.

Helloween I have to rate it 9/10. The beginning was awsome it explaned how Michael Myers turned into a psycho-path. Michael and his mom (Mrs. Zombie) and also his sister (laurie) were the only ones in the world that loved this kid. The ending was great too I loved how it felt like I was watching the first one again. A lot of language, blood and gore, also which caught me off gaurd was the non-stop nudity which took place near the end. I mean I loved the nudity Danella Harris looked awsome even wih her shirt off for twenty minutes. ( ; The only reason why I rated it 9/10 was the fact that the soundtrack SUCKED. They only played the John Carpenter Theme two times, in parts that it didn't need it. but other then that GREAT MOVIE!!!
