i saw halloween the day it came out and i was very disapointed! i was very excited to see it too. i know that rob zombie said that it wasnt a remake but a reimaging but come on, the first half was about his past , but toward the end when he was chasing laurie, it was the same as the end of the original minus the suspence. This is a typical rob zombie move, alot of cussing , sex and gore and not scary in the slightest. i think he should stick to music, bc atleast that was descent, i was actually waiting for him to put his own spin on the orignal music at the end or something. the only part i did like was seeing how he would interrupt michael myers childhood past. i thought that was interesting, but i think he shouldve had more problems , like maybe having a family member die in a horrible way and have him be disturbed and angry, all he had was a mean stepfather, everyone has one of those sometimes. i also thought he should have had a diff girl play laurie and play michael , she seemed so fake and a typical goody goddy , bad acting too bc almost every line i could predict. i did enjoy seeing danielle harris from halloween 4 and 5. And too all those people saying its not for young kids bc of the violence and language, well duh , its a rated R horror movie so get over it. but the main thing that i cant get over it was the lack of suspence and scary factors, even the past movies had jumpy scenes, this had none ! hopefully next time they think about remaking a suburb original, they remember why it was so succesful back in the day!

I have to say this was one of the best horror movies I have seen in such a long time!!! All the new horror moves I have seen with in like five years don't scare me.....This movie made me want to get up and leave.... Not because it was bad....because my heart was about to explode out of my chest in fear......that mask is sick and gets me every time!!!! Don't listen to people who are ripping this movie apart......Go see for your self and watch in horror! Nice job Rob Zombie!!!!!!!!

This was a pretty well made movie. The gore, sex and explicit language was not at all that bad. The only thing I hate is that they don't show enough of it. I want to see it all. No matter whats happening, just show it!

saw it with my boyfriend. wasnt that impressed, thought it was goin to be so much better, but yeah too much cussing for no reason, and real bad ways of getting killed

This may do what Halloween three could not do and kill the farnchise. Just another soul-less remake. When I saw it on friday night the theater was almost empty just eight of us. Zombies are brain dead they should not make movies.

Amazing remake. For all the idiots that say it's to much gore, sex and explicit language ummm.... Hello, that is what slasher films are all about.

Rob ZOmbie's Halloween was obviously not like JOhn's Original. Rob Didnt want it to be the same movie. in an interview he made a great point. We have all seen the original and love it...why make the same movie again?? Rob Took it in a whole new light and made it work his way. its a diff way to look at a classic tale and it works. So if u were expecting an exact remake like Psycho then you shouldn't have saw it. Im one of the biggest horror fans you will ever meet, and yea i thought it was way diff. but it was awesome. if u down it u got problems and no taste in movies straight up.
