this movie was so gay the story was not good and the movie didnt keep me entertain. i would not pay or even buy it when it comes out on dvd

i went to see it friday and went into the theater with the wrong intentions, i went in ready to compare it to the original...and i came out dissappointed...so i went back again monday night and saw it, seeing it as a completly new and different movie, maybe like a reinvention, and thats when i fell in love with it....im a huuuuuge fan of the original and i can honestly say that this is a good installment into the halloween series, but it is in no way a good remake...just a good movie....so i liked it alot...go see it.

Halloween is a re-imagining of the 1978 horror classic. First off I want to start off by saying this movie is not part of the original franchise and should not be compared to it what so ever. This movie is the start of a new franchise for our generation. This movie is awesome and has everything a horror fan would ask for. There is blood/guts/gore, suspense/terror, nudity/sex, and language. This movie is the best horror movie in years and Rob Zombie did an amazing job. There are moments in this movie that will have you jumping out of your seat and on the edge of your seat. The whole theatre stood up and cheered at the end and this movie definitely must be viewed first on the big screen. This movie grabs the movie right from the start. Go see this new update of Halloween that will most likely keep Michael Myers on the screen for years to come. Watch out all of you other horror villains, Michael Myers is back in action.

i thought this movie rocked. it was better then the original and i loved how it let us get to know a little more about michael and how it all began. this is a great movie and id probably even call it a must see

WOOWWW R YA'LL SERIOUS I agree what some of these people are saying here and the people that liked the movie well that is because use are not fans of the the film to begin with no matter what use say this movie was terrible rob zombie is a joke he cannot MAKE MOVIES AND HE JUST SCREWED UP TO ME THE BEST CLASSIC HORROR FILM its messed up it had nothing to even do with the classic and alot of scenes were switched around f**** man i rather watch jason x and that was terrible than watch another one of this mans films he is a disgraced and he made me disgusted wasting $10 to go see that bul i never dislike someone i never met him this is the first

I went to see the movie even against my better judgment. I am a very big fan of the original Halloween, and I was sure not to like it. But I was shocked to see that Rob put a story behind why Michael Myers had became what he became. Like in reality there are people who really snap, due to violence and bullying. I enjoyed the new Halloween very much so, and I cant wait to see it again. My advice to the people who are all negative about the movie and dont care for it, is the movie isnt a remake it is a reimage, so therefor it wasnt made to be the original or even compete with the original, it is simply a new view of a good horror movie. Good job Rob Zombie, cant wait to see if you do a sequel.

that show wowed me. it was fun and scary all at ounce. it made me want to see it again and thats what i wiil do

The beginning was ridiculous, with all the white trash hubbub, but I liked the explanation of why everything happened...a little too gory and violent for me....looked away about 80% of the time. I didn't hate the film, just too violent and bloody, Just too much...
