This movie was hilarious from beginning to end! It does not make fun of Christianty. The focus is on Coogan's pathetic life and rediculous character which will have you rolling with laughter. I could not say enough good things about the film and would highly recommend it!

NinevahProject, yes you are right, Hollywood and most everyone else is afraid to insult Islam in any way due to the threat of violence by Muslims. And there are movies, books etc, that may poke fun at Christianity, but you know what? That is a good thing! If you or me or whoever wish to keep our western culture alive it is important to keep our sense of humor, and also to not become our enemy! Western culture included freedom of speech, and altering that basic right in favor of any particular group or philosophy will be one step closer to us becoming "them". Don't go see Hamlet 2 if it offends you, but don't stifle free speech or free thought because of that. America has a long tradition of satire, and that includes making fun of ourselves, we lose that we lose who we are. We become the enemy.

WOW, another Hollywood movie making fun of Jesus, what an original idea! If Christians were like Muslims, there would be riots all over the world and death threats to every actor in the movie. Instead, this movie will just bomb at the box office because Hollywood is so out of touch with the mainstream American population. How about making a comedy and making fun of Mohammed instead? Wouldn't that be funny to see a parody of the prophet of the religion of peace up there dancing around and making a fool of himself on stage. Hollywood won't do it because they say they don't want to offend Muslims, but in truth, they are scared of them and are intolerant of Christianity. You know I am right.
