I WAS REFERRED TO THIS MOVIE BY A FAMILY MEMBER. IT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE GETTING THE PUBLICITY IT NEEDS TO GET, POSSIBLY DUE TO THE COMMENTS OF CRITICS. THEY GIVE IT 3 STARS, BUT IT DESERVES 4 STARS, DUE TO ITS MESSAGE. HANCOCK IS CAUGHT IN THE GRIPS OF A "CATCH 22" SITUATION, IN WHICH THE LIFE ALTERRING DECISION THAT HE HAS TO MAKE IS NOT IN FACT THE ONE HE WOULD LIKE TO, BUT IN THE END HE MAKES THE RIGHT CHOICE. NOT BASED ON HIS OWN DESIRES, BUT THE GREATER GOOD. THEIR IS AN AUDIENCE THAT THIS MESSAGE IS INTENDED TO GET TO AND THEY ARE THE PEOPLE WHO WILL TRULY APPRECIATE THIS MOVIE. THIS MOVIE IS NOT BEING ADVERTISED PROPERLY. I HAD TO SEARCH TO FIND IT. IT IS NOT POSTED ON THE MOVIE BILLBOARD AT THE THEATRE IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD. WHAT A TREMENDOUS LOSS. WILL SMITH IS DYNAMIC ON THE SCREEN AND SO IS HIS CO-STARS. I WAS INSPIRED BY THIS MOVIE AND I AM SURE OTHERS WHO SEE IT WILL BE TOO. I GIVE IT 4 STARS ON THE RATING CHART. WORTH WATCHING, EVEN WITH THE LANGUAGE.

Some of the negative comments are from people who wouldn't know a good, entertaining movie if it dropped on their faces. These same people probably listen to the worst music ever produced. I suggest using your own discression when it comes to seeing a movie and not to listen to anybody but yourself. Everybody's a critic.

this is one of the best movies i've seen all year. I deffinetly think it's better than that dumb batman or ironman. they suck compared to Hancock. the movie was enjoyable and there was so much action i loved it. I saw with my boyfriend and we loved the WHOLE movie. everything about it.

Love Jason Bateman, and Charlize as well as Will but this movie wasn't so great. I wish we would have watied until it came out on veido. God see "Wanted" instead

We LOVED this movie! It was funny, exciting, surprising, and touching. Parents beware... this movie does contain quite a bit of profanity so be aware for your kids. Going by some other movies with equal ratings and other Will Smith movies I never thought it would be a huge problem, but several serious profane words are used. Otherwise, great film!

This movie was horrible! I felt like throwing up after I saw it. It was completly disgusting. This is really saying something because I love almost every movie ever made. Don't see this movie!

I enjoyed the movie. Action, humor, a touch of romantic/love story. The movie ends showing how one person can go to great lengths to show love for another. Will Smith and Jason Bateman are entertaining. Would see again.

Who cares if they were living in florida in 1928 I was freaken entertained. Loved it!!! Its up there with Iron Man ..........LOVED IT!!!
