Everyones a skeptic huh? If it had been a movie series, not based on a book, you all would have been on it like a gender confused hamster lover on a twilight book. its not the book, its the movie so naturally theres gonna be some differences. and honestly, if you go into the theaters and expect to see a movie that is actually like the book it was taken from, then you are the biggest idiot in the world and need to be raped by a pack of hyenas.

What amazes me is how they really put these films together. The special effects and all. Great production cast. I really loved it.

I have mixed feelings on the movie. On one hand I really enjoyed it even though some of the transition between the scenes were really choppy, and if I hadn't read and reread the books I would have probably loved it. But as a fan of the books I would have loved for HBP to have been made into a 2 part movie also. That way the essence of the book wouldn't have been tampered with. Many of the characters and storylines that were omitted could have remained intact. I know some changes were trival, but for real fans they were still irksome, not to mention the ripple effect into DH that the story changes will cause. Example were Ginny hides the potion book instead of Harry. The addition of the fight at the barrow didn't bother me as bad as the deletion of the battle between the death eaters and the students at Hogswart which I felt was very important. I DID LOVE the expansion of the fish story to explain the closeness between Lilly and Pro.Slughorn. In spite of the negatives I still loved it.

This movie was horrible. The dialogue among many of the key characters was minimal, with so much left out. The interaction between the characters was very sparse at best, that is of the characters they even bothered to include in the movie. Since the 3rd movie, I've been left wondering if the directors and scriptwriters have actually taken the time to read the books. I do understand that if most of the content in the books was to be transferred into the movies, then the running time might be 5 -8 hours long. But, this was horrible. It is as if they just want to get the movies made and be done with the series.

I was very disappointed in this film...the first that has disappointed me. It didn't have the same feeling for me. It wasn't as lighthearted as the others, it seemed to skip around a lot and a lot of the detail that was in the previous films were missing from this. In addition, I thought the acting was poor in this film, particularly Ginny and Luna. They didn't convey any feeling...it was though they'd been drugged. I had so been looking forward to this and was really let down.
