it had good special effects, but it didn't follow the book.

The movie was entertaining and all but barely followed the book at all. The whole movie was about 3 hours of "love and comedy"! I was expecting a lot more action from this movie, I was highly disappointing. I still enjoyed it but I feel it could have followed the book and it could have been better.

The movie is terrific. But DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY on the IMAX version! No one tells you in advance ********* only in 3-D for the first 20-30 minutes, then it's just big screen. And frankly, the 3-D is more distracting than a bonus. I was relieved when it stopped. See it in a regular theatre, and enjoy!
