Hellboy II: The Golden Army User Reviews

Don't you just hate it when Hollywood makes stinkers like this movie and they hire these phoneys to post reviews praising the film to 'High Heaven' when those who sit through this bomb know "Hellboy II" is one hell of a stinker. I have seen many other movie bombs receive similar false praises. Director Guillermo De Toro made a bad movie. I hope the praises of the liberal critics didn't go to his head, those self-important, ass kissing, psuedo-intellecttuals are almost always contrary to what the paying public thinks and likes in a movie. I Hope he does much better with The Hobbit, the whole world will be tuned in for that movie. I hope he knows the mind of JRR Tolkien. "Small to greater matters must give way." W.S.

the movie was horrible, i went with two of my buddies and all of us thought it sucked, we couldnt believe how bad it was we all liked the first one and were VERY disappointed in this one. HORRIBLE!!!!!!

The Golden Army was super! One of Hollywood’s most entertaining movie's this summer.This is more a comedy superhero movie with a meaning, and a big question that ask What if a superhero has problems that affect humans? will Hellboy become a bad-boy in the next movie?Guillermo del Toro thank you thank you thank you soooooo much for making Hellboy 1 and 2...Hellboy 3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9 must be made to!!! and of course it must have sexy Ron Pearlman as Hellboy again and beautiful Selma Blair must be in it to.....

This is not a movie for old geezers or toddler mommys, this was a high octane, classy action movie, made with inteligence, talent and imagination, no way in hell was Wanted better.

i totally loves this movie. the first one i was not too sure of the first time i had seen it. but then i watched it a second time and fell in love with it. this movie had more action, more comedy, and more of Abraham Sapien. i had no problem with the cgi and sometimes could not tell what was real and what was not. go see this movie. easily one of the best this summer (until the dark knight comes out lol).

This film cements my admiration for the work Guillermo Del Toro. His understanding of the world of fairy and the diminished place of fairy tales and the creatures who inhabit these 'blessed' lands is remarkable. The loss of this other world diminishes us all.As for the film, it is a truly amazing ride. The characters have been given more depth and the tales flows well from one scene to the next. The antagonist Nuala is a tragic figure who sees what is happening to his people and fights back with what he has at his disposal. But, he is sense of morality has abandoned him making for a complex and ideal opponent for Hellboy and his companions.

I seen most of the summer movies and this was my favorite so far. If you liked the first one, you'll love this one. This is a special FX bonanza if that's what your looking for. Also a great plot (sometimes funny, too). I wouldn't take little kids to see it, but then again, it wasn't made for them. Just go see it and be thoroughly entertained. This is what a summer action/sci-fi movie should be.

Hell Boy II: The Golden Armywas ******* AMAZING! way better than the first one!a must see, it was funny, awesome fights, and the story line was a real attention grabber, an edge of your seat film.and dont listen to the neg. points people say, seriously, if you think this movie is good, id go see it. i give it 5 stars.and if you love action / sci-fithan go see this one!
