There are many lessons in this movie for busy bodied pain in the neck adults who have nothing better to do but to make rules for everyone else. I believe everyone in politics, or on a school board, or similar should see this movie. Twice.

This was the best movie for any age to go see. I took my 2 year old niece and she loved it. This movie will have you laughing at all of the corny humor. A must see for 2008....A movie!!!!

It had its funny parts and scenes that just didn't need to be in the movie even my kids commented on the scene of Horton imagining he was kungfu fighter or something like that it was boring to us to watch that. It was a cute movie but not a great movie. Acutally son asked me what part did I like best and I said the "ending when it was over" sorry just more for kids movie not adult. Without the kids wanting to see it I wouldn't have.

My sister and brother went to see this movie at the same time I was watching another. They didn't seem thrilled when they talked to me but I assume they were recovering from extensive laughter.

This was a really sweet and funny adaptation of one of my favorite suess books! It took me about five minutes to get into it, but it didn't take long for Horton's clumsy sensitive charm to capture my heart. At several points in the movie my husband, my five year old, and myself were laughing out loud.. there were even several little ones clapping throughout the movie as they cheered Horton along on his colorful valiant "quest." All the characters were rich, and complete. There was this weird little fluffy character that I found disturbing in some weird way (especially because she was meant to be a doe eyed sugary sweet little puffball,) even my husband said it was kinda weird (something about it's teeth, he said) But my 5 year old thought it was really cute sooo... ? ANYWAYS, overall I loved it! Also there was a much deeper message about believing in something bigger than yourself which was REALLY cool. And the cherry on top was a family coming together against all odds and learning to accept each other just the way they are! Good morals, great message, and a really fun film! A

...is delightful! Jim Carrey--whom I don't generally like--is wonderful in this role! I laughed out loud several times--as did all the children (and adults) around me! The characters are adorable, colorful and thanks to great digital graphics, almost tangible! The water scenes are amazing! Great humor--a little sad in one part, which might bother really young kids--but that scene passes pretty quickly. Overall, just a great afternoon at the movies! I'm sure that Theodore Geisel is smiling down on this adaptation--it's truly terrific!
