  • It's no great shakes as a film, but its combination of mild comedy, slapstick, pathos, many photogenic canines and a positive message will make it irresistible to families. show more

  • Between the dogged efforts of the kids to save strays and the antics of the dogs, it's hard to resist this lively, though predictable, family movie. show more

  • It's sad to see a promising fantasy turn into yet another industrial-scale fantasy-delivery system that beats up on its audience with mindless intensity and undercuts its own humanity -- and caninity -- in the process. show more

I found this movie really enjoyable, it's happy, it's tear-jerking, it's happy again. I believed the relationship between Andi and her brother Bruce and really liked Don Cheadle. The foster parents were a little over the top but it is a comedy movie and some things will be larger than real life. In all a cute movie for kids and adults and how can you go wrong when Pedigree donates money to shelter dogs when you buy a ticket.

Hotel for Dogs is a funny and heartwarming film about two adopted kids who save every single dog they see. With a few laughs and cute dogs this is a great film for kids.
