Plot

In this adventure story with a comic touch from Hong Kong, Ching (Yuen Biao) is a royal guard of the Ming Dynasty who must find and capture an old friend who has gone bad and is wanted for rape and murder. In the midst of a hard-fought battle in the snow, the two men are frozen, and they remain in suspended animation until they are accidentally thawed out in 20th century Hong Kong. Their rivalry continues as they confront the wonders of modern technology and vie for the hand of a beautiful woman (Maggie Cheung) who is acting as Ching's guide to the modern age. This film was also released in English-speaking countries under the title Time Warriors.
