Not a bad movie - certainly action-packed, it holds your interest. And I especially like the mom - what a tough broad this is!

I did not like this movie one bit. The mother places her son in a positin where he has to protect the family for her sins. And I have no clue as to why they vindicated the patriach's murder. Very disappointed in this movie.

Luridly earnest and laughably immoral, Illegal Tender is an old genre movie with a new look. Call it Hispanixploitation. Full Review
Too muted to have much lasting impact, and remains modestly diverting only on a scene-to-scene basis. There's no quotable dialogue, no standout action sequence, no flashy supporting performances -- in short, nothing to lift Illegal Tender from the level of competent but inconsequential B-movie.
