I thought this movie was a joke. The acting was really bad. looked like a grade "B" movie. I started to think that it was a spoof like scary movie. the stole scenes for Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Blade. We actually walked out and tried to get our money back. do not waste your money like I did on this movie. BAD BAD BAD BAD Unbeliveably BAD!!!!

Worst movie i ever saw... Burt Reynolds was awful as the king and when he finally died everybody in the theater clapped, after the longest death scene EVER! The end of the movie looks like they ripped off The Matrix but filmed it on an old Harry Potter set! Where did the ninjas come from and why does everybody in this crazy kingdom have a different accent? How do people in armor and chain mail catch on fire? The only good part was that most people who were in the theater had left and those who stayed were only there to make fun of the movie... we had a good time doing that! MST3k would have a blast with this one! Dont go see it!

I went into this movie honestly realllllly wanting to like it. The actors are good actors but the story was TERRIBLE. The lighting was terrible. The score never fit the scene. The lines weren't worth being delivered. I have NEVER seen a worse movie and i LOVE movies. Just don't bother (i am not an over opinionated person and i don't often review movies... i just wanted to save ya'll the trip and the 8$)

Horrid movie by a director known for making just bad films. Who keeps giving this many money to throw away?

Probably one of the worst movies I've seen lately. The dialogue was cheesy, the action stilted, the scenes and costumes very poorly ripped off from other movies. The only thing that kept my from falling asleep was my 2 buddies and I with a very quiet running dialogue fit for Mystery Science Theatre 3000. The only saving grace were the hot actresses.

This absolutely is the worse movie I have ever seen, with the exception of "attack of the killer tomatoes", I hate it when these damn movie makers create these trailers and put the very best scenes in the movie and you think "hey cool I want to see that movie"! It is a good thing they hid the fact that Burt Reynolds was the "King", had I known that I would have never gone to the movie! I swear to God, I saw at least 6 people get up and leave when it was revealed that Burt Reynolds was the King, I should have left right then!! Throughout the whole movie from the time it was revealed that Burt Reynolds was the King, people would leave about every 5 mintutes. Jason Statham (The Transporter) was so believeable as a "Farmer", ya right. What is the Italion mob guy Ray Liotta doing in this type of film, he is so sterio typed for sure and looked so out of place with his "BLUE" contact lenses. It was nice to see Hell Boy (Ron Perlman) as a common man. I had a flash back to "Flash Gordon" when I saw (John Rhys-Davies) who played the "Merlin" character in the movie. You might remember him as the Leader of the Bird People. This whole film was such a rip off of about 6 films (Lord of the Rings, Excalibor, Flash Gordon, Robin Hood, etc, etc). This movie was so terrible they actualy had Nijas in the movie, can you believe that!! The creatures they were fighting looked like the offspring of the orcs from Lord of the Rings. The costumes were so cheaply done, this whole movie is a B movie at best! None of the Character lines were developed at all. All of a sudden you see these women drop out of the trees from vines, you don't know who they are or why they are there. At least one of the Vine Women looks like "StarBuck" from the new BattleStar Galactica series! This movie would have gotten much better reviews if the Character lines would have been developed and no known actors would have played in the mov

This movie was horrible. The casting was way off and basically it was the worst thing I have ever seen.

While I am generally a fan of this genre, this movie was indisputably one of the worst all time movies I have ever seen. A very week story line, poor casting, and even worse acting make this an experience to avoid.

The first thing that told me this movie might be bad is when I found it was not playing at any of the threatres in my local area. I had to drive twelve miles to see it. I'll start with the cons since there are so many.Cons:No character development, no emotion, uninspired and lifeless dialogue, terrible scene editing, bad story telling, some of the worst acting since the new Star Wars trilogy, a few bad casting choices such as Burt Reynolds, Ray Liota and Matthew Lillard. There's no sense of danger, nothing that makes us really care about the characters. Things are not explained very well, I defy anyone to tell who the women are that live in the trees, why they're there and what their purpose is in the world. I have no idea how the story between Gallian and Muriella begins, it wasn't until later inthe movie that i figured out he was using her for her power that I didn't even know she had. I have no idea how Duke Fallow and Gallian started working together. We don't see Farmer's wife being taken, we're left to assume she was. it's just a disaster. Now the Pros:Jason Statham and Claire Forlani are believable, they're perfectly cast. It's good to see John Rhys Davies in another movie of this genre. Kristana Loken and Leelee Sobieski are drop dead gorgeous, I love them both. They kept my interest. Oh what I would give to be alone in a room with them. ehhem..sorry. The scenary is beautiful, I enjoyed the soundtrack and I like how it was shot, it gives you that feeling of being back in the medieval world. In closing, this movie in the hands of a real film maker (Ridley Scott, Pete Jackson etc) could have been a film of epic proportions, but it doesn't even come close to what it should be. The folks who put this one together should be banned from the genre forever. If a film ever deserved a do-over, it's this one. I'll give it 2 1/2 stars out of five. One star for Kristana Loken, one for Leelee Sobieski and 1/2 a star because it's a better movi
