Jak Byc Kochana Synopsis & Summary

This story of personal difficulties during the war finds an actress on a trip to Warsaw recalling her recent past. When a fellow actor allegedly kills a Nazi collaborator, she hides the man from the Gestapo. It turns out her friend is a craven, cowardly would-be hero with a huge inferiority comlex about nearly everything. The two part company at the end of the war, but are accused individually of collaborationg with the Nazis.
