Jessica Sinclaire's Confessions of a Lonely Wife
Not Yet Rated| 1 hr. 30 min.
A grieving woman (Paula Jai Parker) recounts her marriage to a murdered record producer.
Saw it! wish I didn't. This movie was really, really bad. I like to support Black films - but this was an embarrassment! Paula Jai Parker probably did this as a favor to somebody - she and the Michelle Obama look-a-like were the only ones who were decent in the movie. Anthony Grant - I've never heard of and he was ok. Phire Dawson - TERRIBLE! she talks like she has marbles in her mouth - or is just a bad actress! They kept saying beautiful wife - I didn't get it because Paula's character is her cousin and she is far more attractive than the girl who is 'supposed to be" the "pretty" one. The story sounded like it was going to be interesting, ************* just a hot mess. Anthony Grant is supposed to be wealthy - you wouldn't know it - he and his wife (Phire Dawson) sleep in a cheap brass bed - when it's supposed to be night time - the sun is shining outside. There are scenes where you only get shots of thier mouths - too much - camera shaking all ove the place. Someone dies from stragulation - it's the worse "dying" I've ever seen. There is a french chick who helps the wife but she never speaks english - and the wife is able to decipher what she is saying - RIDICULOUS!!! Maybe I was expecting too much - it's just a low budget flick - don't waste your money.
