I should add, in addition to Gimatti and Linney giving stellar performances, David Morse as George Washington was equally as admirable. The man's been acting for 30+ years, and he deserves to get that emmy he's nominated for.Just my 2c. Love this miniseries!

I was awed by Paul Giamatti's portrayal of John Adams, as well as Laura Linney's portrayal of Abigail Adams. Their performances sometimes brought me to tears, it was that believable. They both showed the "human" side of them and their true love, respect, and admiration they had for each other throughout their lives. How intimate a look of a man whose very words still stirs me and moves me to tears.
