I enjoyed this movie very much, a good family go to see film with action, excitement and of course a classic novel as a basis. I definitely recommend this movie unless you are looking for crass language, gore or poor quality.

I took my 12 year old today and he loved this movie. I also thought it was very good. We saw it in 3-D and the effects were awesome. In fact there were a couple of times we jumped in our chairs. This is a good family movie but some parts are a little scary so I wouldn't take young children. Otherwise it is a good movie. Now he wants to read the book.

Super good. A must watch. I watched it in a theater without the 3d glasses, but i was still really good. The actors did a good job. There was lots of action and I won't tell you more because i don't want to ruin it. Most likely, you won't know what's coming next throughout the whole movie. I liked it so much that as soon as I got home, I ordered the book of of Amazon. Yeah if you didn't know... It is based on a science fiction book that a group of people believed was more than a story, some people even started an expirament and it became a [not so believed ]science. When they get to the center, you see some prehistoric creatures. It's great for children and teenagers...

Me and my 18 year old son,went to see Journey to the center of the earth yesterday at Col.Hghts. movie 16 theatre,It is almost a brand new theatre,and is NOT 3D CAPABLE ..that was a big dissapointment,and the air cond was not working up to par either...the movie in my opinion was not that great.
