Plot Summary
In 1994, 323 people -- 288 of them children -- died in a fire in a Chinese theater because they were told to stay seated to allow visiting executives to evacuate first. The government of China censored the story and, to this day, the people of Karamay are not allowed to publicly mourn their slain children.
