Television producer Peter Rosen directs the feature-length documentary Khachaturian, a profile of the Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian. Born June 6, 1903, in Georgia, Khachaturian became one of the leading composers of the Soviet era. He was president of the Composer's Union of the Soviet Union and gained respect from the Communist party. At the same time, he was allied with artistic composers like Shostakovich and Prokofiev.
