I can't believe this received an A rating. BORING!

This movie was much better than I had expected. Jodie Foster deserves an Oscar for her performance. Terrence Howard did a great job also. The story was very compelling and the time flew by too quickly. The ending was perfect. The language and the violence were a little rough but at least Hollywood used some common sense this time and gave it an R rating instead of a PG-13. Overall, it was a great movie.

This is a slow moving story with predictable results. Rachel Evan Wood and Michael Douglas do a good job of handeling their roles. The story line is predictable and plodding yet developes the bond between the father and daughter in a touching way. To me the pay off is the ending scene. If you have been paying attention it is a touching way to end. Overall I liked the movie very much. Anyone who can't sit back and let the story develope will be disappointed but those of you who allow a movie to slowly set up its pay off will be delighted.
