King of the Elves Synopsis & Summary

Adapted from the short story by Philip K. Dick (which incidentally marks the legendary science-fiction scribe's sole foray into fantasy), this animated adventure tells the tale of a Mississippi Delta man who reluctantly agrees to help a desperate band of elves. A horrible troll is killing off all of the elves, and their only hope of defeating the monster is to seek help from a human. When a simple man from the Mississippi Delta agrees to help prevent the pixies from being rendered extinct, his fearlessness and bravery inspires them to name him the King of the Elves. - Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
