I think personally you would have to be a kid or have a kid with you in this movie. I'm 14 and i thought my sisters really enjoyed it and i thought it was pretty cute my self! When you walk into any movie you see, you have to keep an open mind about things so that you may enjoy the movie and just a little tip to KKloni123, dont lie and say that she is your sister! What do you think everyone reading that is a 2nd grader because they're not and i hate people who do that so just get over yourself KKloni123 and stop pretending to be her sister and maybe... oh i dont know....GET A LIFE! Some people like KKloni123 are the fakest people alive! :o) ♥

Wonderful movie. A big surprise to see a good movie without all the usual junk that passes for entertainment these days. Worth every penny spent. This movie can be seen by all ages and can enjoy and learn from it. I completely recommend this movie for just about everyone although the teenage male might be too intimidated to express his feelings adequately so the movie might not work for them, but who knows...

Upon my grandaughter's advice, I went to the movies expecting something not so well done. This movie is a sleeper and was one of the best I have seen in a long time. I hardly come out of a movie feeling touched but this movie will make you think and touch you at the same time. The whole cast is perfect and the little star is sooo great. What a wonderful future she will have. Excellent talent that adds all the right mixtures of emotions. It is simple yet complex uplifting entertainment that fits our times just as it fits the events of the Great Depression. Brings home the fact that we are a couple of paychecks away from a food kitchen. Good thing to not forget.

This was one of the best movies that I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot because I go to 1 or 2 every weekend. It was a wonderful story about being happy with what you have. With this recession going on, I think the timing of this movie couldn't have been better. Don't be fooled by the "G" rating. The majority of the audience was between 50-80 years old. It was so refreshing to see a movie with no swearing or sex. Hollywood should make more films like this one. It was also very heartwarming and funny and the characters were very lovable too. I can't wait to buy the DVD!

This movie was absolutley wonderful. It brings back hope that the industry can dare to produce movies without endless special effects, violence and shock value. Yeah for all who were involved.

I saw this film with my 10 year old daughterand we both thought it was wonderful. A good story that kids will enjoy without even relizing that they are learning about what it was like to live through the depression. In today's unsteady economy I think the story line of how people made do with less is good for kid's to see. The film focuses on what is really important in life.. family, friends and community.
