This film was probably quite provocative and shocking in the early \'60s ,when it was originally made. Sadly,time has taken some of the edge off the story. The plotline of this movie now reads like a ... headline news story from any newspaper or cable news special report. How many politicians can you name who HAVEN\'T been caught in similar situations(possibly one that YOU voted for). Nonetheless,it still packs enough punch to be a camp classic. Back in the day,this was the type of movie Jayne Mansfield was better known for. Even at a tender age,Ann-Margret showed the type of range that would hold her in good stead later in her career.
