i think it is worth anypenny
The combination of beautific landscapes and arresting erotism make this film quite visually stunning. However, this version differs in a major way... om the book that I read in college. That needn't have been a bad thing, except that the book's lauditory feminist sentiment is diminished by the action of the films main character. This Lady Chatterley demonstrates that freedom may merely give one licence to act on one's own selfish impulses, hardly what I gleened from D.H. Lawrence's lovely novel. It's also a bit slow. Tip: visit the bathroom before the movie starts. Full Review
