Laia Synopsis & Summary

This thoughtful drama recounts the life of Laia (Nuria Espert) as she awaits the return of her husband from a sea voyage, unsure whether her lover has killed him as she requested. This Spanish movie is based on a book by Salvador Espiru. The film depicts Laia's tomboy girlhood and struggle with epilepsy.
