Special kudos to Freeman, who kills it on the dance floor and later while drunk off his ass on vodka and Red Bull. You'll groan as much as howl at the jokes, but the veteran stars have a ball acting their age. Even when all else fails them, they're good company. show more

    Mick LaSalle San Francisco Chronicle

Last Vegas is an entertaining movie with a lot of integrity, and it gives all of its actors - all heavyweights and Oscar winners - real moments to dig in and play something. show more

    Scott Bowles USA Today

Alas, this all-star ensemble comedy that trumpets (too loudly) that it's a "Hangover" on hemorrhoid cream musters enough laughs to be passable, if not memorable. And that's thanks to Morgan Freeman's showmanship. show more

Just call this movie "The Hangover: AARP Strikes Back." show more

Joe Neumaier New York Daily News

Though coming off at times like Adam Sandler’s “Grown-ups,” only with Oscar winners, Last Vegas is a genial little comedy for the crowd it’s intended for. show more

    Todd McCarthy The Hollywood Reporter

Although formulaic in design and programmed to meet its quota of laughs, the film makes a point of going beyond basic expectations into some legitimate aspects of mature friendships without getting soggy about it. show more

It certainly doesn’t hurt that Douglas, De Niro, Freeman, and Kline are just plain fun to watch together. As predictable and occasionally uncomfortable as Last Vegas can be, it’s an assured crowd-pleaser. show more

There’s virtually nothing subtle or surprising about the story, and yet one can’t help but smile throughout watching five Academy Award-winning actors breezing their way through an obvious but lovely and funny adventure. show more

    Michael Phillips Chicago Tribune

A genial "Hangover" for the AARP set, Last Vegas is roughly what you'd expect, or fear, but a little better. show more

    Roger Moore McClatchy-Tribune News Service

Last Vegas isn’t “out there” in a “Hangover” sense. It’s comical comfort food, with actors doing the sorts of things they’ve done for decades. But even if this is the safest Vegas romp of them all, this cast never lets us forget that we’re in very good hands. show more

Excellent movie. Reminded me of my best friends from high school. Well scripted, and expertly acted. Very enjoyable.

I just saw the movie last night. I thought it was carefully scripted and these veteran actors nailed it! So funny and I was so happy not to see blood, gore, car chases and graphic sex.

All this talent...and a big missed opportunity. A group of actors padding their pockets

Great feel good movie! I can\'t think of a single change that would have made it funnier or more entertaining. It was just about a perfect way to spend a couple of hours.

Get ready to laugh. Last Vegas captures your attention throughout by bringing together comedy and friendship. Can\'t go wrong with this movie, a definite must see.

I expected a whole lot more out of the heavy weight cast. cute story but kind of slow and very predictable I love Morgan Freeman so I will watch anything with him in it. I think I would have liked this better with an all woman cast.....think of the possibilities esp if Betty White was cast.
