There were so many things wrong with this picture, it's hard to sort them out. The climatic scene is a football game, yet there's nothing at stake. You don't care who wins. The movie can't make up it's mind what genre it is. There are scenes that have nothing much to do with a plot, such as there is. There were no indications the Rene Zellweger character was even interested in the Clooney character until near the end, and then it didn't make sense. I agree about Zellweger being distracting with her cupie doll face, plumped up cheeks and red lipstick. She didn't come off as sexy or hardbitten. None of the characters really seemed to mesh. I could go on, but the bottom line is that it was boring. A few good one liners, but largely a yawner. By the way, if you read the article in Sports Illustrated by the screenwriter you'll get the gist of what the movie was intended to be. But then you realize that Clooney, who starred and directed, also rewrote all but two scenes, and then you see why it's not nearly as interesting as it could have been. In Clooney's typically ego-driven way, he wanted writing credit for the script and when the Writers Guild refused him, he quit in a snit.

Painful movie to sit through. I love football, Clooney, and Zelweger's backside, but neither saved this movie. Loved the 'Little Rascal' like "Bug" but where did he go for 50 minutes? Could have saved the movie himself. p.s. watch Krasinski fight southpaw and righty without moving!!

Leatherheads is funny, entertainment and shows between lines loyalty, focus, and determination. It is a delightful movie that reflects your positive energy. I saw your interview with John and definitely you won't receive pity money, you all earn it very well. Let's see the results and wait for your next movie. Good luck always, RBK

This was a waste of money. Alot of long shots looking into the face of George got old. It seemed to me he was trying to recreate O Brother Where Art Thou and it just didn't work!

What a delightful Saturday night was spent with Leatherheads. George, John, and Rene play off each other with delight to the audience. Many laugh out loud parts, a real feel good movie.Judy and George in Chicago

I went to see this with my brother who convinced me to go. Well all i can say is BORING!!!! I fell asleep half way through and woke to find my brother asleep also!!!!!!!! hahaha!! What a waste of time and money,at least the popcorn and goobers were good!!

Boring movie!! Who cared about the plot?? I walked out after fighting through50 minutes, I can't believe I even made it that long...........Had no desire to watch this movie(made a mistake by going to it) and people who got into in need to get a LIFE!!! Was as bad and BORING as Michael Clayton was, George Clooney makes lousy movies(boring usually) 98% of the time and Renee Zellwegger(can't act) is also overrated and I can't say I have enjoyed anything she or Clooney has ever been in........
