Boring movie!! Who cared about the plot?? I walked out after fighting through50 minutes, I can't believe I even made it that long...........Had no desire to watch this movie(made a mistake by going to it) and people who got into in need to get a LIFE!!! Was as bad and BORING as Michael Clayton was, George Clooney makes lousy movies(boring usually) 98% of the time and Renee Zellwegger(can't act) is also overrated and I can't say I have enjoyed anything she or Clooney has ever been in........

I go to the movies about 8 or 9 times a months this movie was a big disapointment, the kind of movie that makes you want to ask for your money back, dull, dull, dull.

The verbal sparing between Clooney and Zellweger lacked energy and chemistry especially when compared to Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell in His Girl Friday. Screwball comedy is not Clooney's forte. Zellweger was distracting with her pouty red lips and squinty eyes. Krazinski has what it takes for the long haul. He is a pleasure to watch. He emotes sensitivity.

We were so looking forward to this movie, but I have to admit I was bored and fell asleep. It had a few cute moments, but on the whole, I wish I had my time and money back.

Going in descending order -Great - Cinematography, music, John Krasinski playing a lovable sell-out (all those posters!)Good - George Clooney's Dodge is scruffy, funny, and amazingly enough, knows when to leave the party.Okay - Renee Zellweger, who was robbed of her Oscar for playing a 20's moll in CHICAGO, is frustrating because Leatherheads is set in the 20's and she is not delivering. There's no kick, no vinegar to her woman-in-a-man's-world reporter. And who dressed her? Aside from 2 hats, her wardrobe was at least 20 years ahead of the time.Annoying - the sepia pics bookcasing every other scene. The cop chase was not only filler, but boring filler. They could have at least speed-motioned it with tinkly piano music to get a laugh. Also, everybody seemed just out of reach of each other. The whole movie felt like George Clooney had a dream he made a football movie.

This was a waste of money. Alot of long shots looking into the face of George got old. It seemed to me he was trying to recreate O Brother Where Art Thou and it just didn't work!

This movie easily makes it into my all time 20 worst movies. It had 4 or 5 good one liners and that was it. EVERYTHING in the script was totally predictable and all I felt was embarrassment for Clooney and Zellwiger that they could make such a horrific film. And my date spoke up before I could, 30 minutes in as I was biting my tongue not wanting to spoil it if she was enjoying the mess. She wasn't.

"its nice to be 1st every now and then, especially when you get the chance to write an unbiased review, not clouded with the constant negativity that is very common to this format, not having to read the, dont waist your time, money, or brain power reviews which are far to common and degrading, just so some morron can view his feedback looked at by others, with all that said, i liked it, theres some good acting there but not anywhere exceptional to go with it
