It's unapologetic schmaltz, deftly directed by Gary Winick (Tadpole) as if it really meant something. show more
(It doesn't hurt that Ms. Redgrave gets to play opposite Franco Nero, who was once the love of her life and is the father of her son.) Not even she can transform lines like "Destiny wanted us to meet again." show more
It's also a case of art imitates life imitates art. If that makes it a tribute to a tribute to a classic, then it is no less enjoyable for that. show more
Sweet,, sweet movie. Where there is love , there is hope. We need more films like this. I never wanted to see it end. Good acting, directing and filming on location.
LOVED this MOVIE I cried and smile through out the movie just a wonderful and moving love story...!
Thiis is a double love story. No nothing offensive just sweet honest love. So nice to injoy with the family even the little ones. Shows customs of other countries,I loved eating out side with tablecloth on a card table morning or evening. The French do the same. Being old is not the end of the feeling of love. Just a very nice love story. Wi
