Considering my feelings about the first two films in this franchise - I thought they were great - I was quite disappointed with this. The whole thing has an air of 'can't be bothered'. The story seems rushed and cobbled together, most of the jokes can be seen coming a mile off and it just feels as if they ran out of ideas. After Meet The Fockers, I so wanted more, ************ the people behind

How bad is the third installment... So bad that this bland, pointless sequel features a gratuitous scene where the stunning Jessica Alba - one of many new faces added to an already overstuffed ensemble - strips down to her lacy undergarments, belly-flops into a backyard pit, rolls around in the mud, and I still can't recommend you pay to see it. This is the first Focker installment not directed by Jay Roach, who did a good job balancing the yuks with the more outrageous gross-outs. That comic-revolting parity shouldn't be much of a challenge for "American Pie's" Paul Weitz, and yet the skeevier bits aren't especially funny. Full Review

It is incredibly tempting to resort to the implied off-color word play made possible by the Focker name and suggest that this third edition is totally - but I won't. Full Review

The million-dollar cast doesn't make the vulgar penny-ante jokes any funnier. Full Review

There are viable flashes of comedy in the franchise. But with each movie, they grow increasingly dim. Full Review
