I have been waiting for this gem of a movie to be released since I saw it this summer in my NYU Movies 101 class. I loved it and have recommended to many people with whom I feel it will deeply resonate. The performances of Landau and Burstyn were exceptional. Banks and Scott also gave sincere supportive performances.

I saw Lovely Still, in Orinda, California on April 25, 2010 the California Independent Film Festival had done a great job in putting this movie as the final curtain call to end the Festival. The California Independent Film Festival started April 22, and ended on April 25, 2010 and as a Volunteer and a Sponsor I was very happy to see such a beautiful show. I highly recommend for everyone to see

Saw a preview of this movie recently--although is was billed as a "romantic comedy" it was not a comedy at all. In fact it was really sad (especially the last third of the movie)! The acting was really wonderful--award winning! Most of the people in the preview audience agreed that this movie should definately not be billed as a comedy.
