  • If the movie gets by, as it surely will during the current entertainment drought, most of the credit should go to a couple of performers (Latifah/Keaton) who come from different traditions, yet share a gift for breathing life into moribund material. show more

  • A likable and completely dispensable heist film starring two of the deftest comedians working (Keaton and Latifah), the film from Callie Khouri is itself an American retread of the British caper telefilm "Hot Money." show more

  • Improbable and generally unfunny comedy. show more

I don't know what ya'll were watching, but I had a great time seeing this movie. My friends and I laughed out loud through most of it. It was not totally predictable, the ending was clever and funny. Perhaps with the economy in this country suffering due in large part to our current administration's policies of Tax credits for the wealthy, while the middle class (soon to be paupers) are really struggling, allowing jobs to be shipped overseas, Big Oil gauging the American public, home foreclosures, funding this stupid war, I found a bit of relief in getting one over on the Federal Reserve. Go see this movie! All 3 gals were wonderful and Ted Danson was delightful.
