Definitly a 5 star! Loved it!

I have seen this movie several times and if it came on right now I would watch it again . I love tear jerkers that really touch your heart and I could relate to this one in alot of ways . We like to think we would not make fun of someone in that situation but the majority of us would not befriend "Rocky" and take up for him if we actually went to school with him . We would probably try to conform to the ways of this world and go with the crowd . Sad but true . Godspeed Rocky Dennis ! Great movie and true story !

This is a tearjerker, and one can feel the heartbreak and pain in this film;Rocky Dennis(Stolze) has every problem a teen would have.The major one is a cranial deformity.He tries to adjust to life in a standard school,where everyone is judgemental and really "cruel'.Cher plays his mom Rusty,a very unconventional drug abuser.Her boyfriends come and go, but the one Rocky really gets attached to is Gar,who has known him from infancy.We also have an excellent performance by Estelle Getty,who plays Rusty's tolerant mother,Rocky's sweet grandmother.Laura Dern has a wonderful role as Diana,a blind camper who has parents as narrow-minded and as blind in understanding as her. seems as
