usually if there's action in a movie i love it but this one was such a let down. it just seemed undone. the plot, the characters, action sequences. everything. i like mark wahlberg but this wasnt his best work at all. mila kunis, love her, but she wasnt believeable. the storyline of a pharmaceutical being developed to make a more aggressive soldier was really a dope concept, they should have played around with it more. but really this whole movie just left me wanting more. i LOVE movies, every kind. so the fact that i didnt really like this says alot (i mean i even like death race...the one with jason stathom lol). i see a sequel in the works too. they will have to step up their game a whole lot to even make that even moderately attractive to me.

such a sick movie, i dont understand why nobody really liked it. the action scenes were amazing although ill agree that it starts off slow. Either way maxy payne is one bad ass dude and this is a great movie.

This was an awaited movie. It moved along as in the game. The story started slow in the beginning, and got its pace by the 1st quarter. Great actions. Loved it. Even though I expected a li'l more stuff, i am still satisfied. Good work! Cheers!!

i suspect the storyline for Max Payne is a lot more exciting when it's happening in the form of a video game... except for those few exciting parts that i already saw in the preview, it was a snoozefest www.kogmedia.com

This movie was AWSOME!! packed full of action and great storyline. Keeps you sitting on edge of your seat gasping at every sence LOVE IT!!!

yea definutely seen better movies. the plot was ok, but i think Constantine was a better movie.......................Mark Walhburg did kick ass though. more funny if anything.

This movie was horrible. I am almost tempted to say it was worse than DOOM. Mark Wahlberg is a awesome actor and he normally says away from bad movies. Which was obviously not the case with this picture. The best words to describe this film is HOT GARBAGE!!

I saw this film a few days ago and enjoyed it very much. I thought that all of the acting was solid, including the story. Mark Wahlberg was very good as Max. Note: Stay after credits. I give it a high four stars.

Save yourself the $10. Go rent or buy the Punisher with Thomas Jane instead. It's a much better movie than Max Payne as you see through the mind of Frank Castle what he went through in that made him the Punisher. In the Punisher, Jane's expressiveness in his face told it all. In contrast, Walberg's face is stone cold like lousy actors. I hope that the Punisher War Journal coming out in December is not like this.
