Utterly awful! Three quarters of the way through the movie I looked at my friend and asked, "is this a farce?" a la "Best in... t;? But no, 'twas not to be. Please do not waste your time on this cliche of a film. The actors weren't acting, they were caricatures of actors. The script was amateurish. So many other good films out there now...not this one Full Review

While I found it mildly interesting, my husband could barely stay awake. If you like old movies, you'll like ********* not a love story its a story... of Orson Welles getting a play off the ground and how he used his "genius" to feel free to be shallow and treat people like second class citizens. Me and Orson Welles belongs to that genre of films that makes the audience privy to a "behind the scenes" look into the production process,... be it of plays, movies, etc. In this case, of course, it's a view into Welles 1937 production of Julius Caesar. The film is thoroughly enjoyable, and the cast could not be better, especially Christian McCay who nails his portrayal of Welles. If you are lucky enough to have it come to your town, don't miss it!
