I thought this movie was exceptional and unique. Also very clever and fun to watch!!!! Five stars.
Woody's latest film is one of his best! Don't miss it. And keep in mind, Woody wrote every actors' lines. Astounding!
One of the best films I've seen in years! Just love it and watched 3 times. Not only the concept, the acting, the cinema-photography are all excellent, but you suddenly get the idea that Wilson IS Woody! Wilson imitates Woody's tone and expression, stammering a little and talks slower than average people. It is so entertaining, especially to those who know 19th and 20th century literature and art
awesome ! **********
I love Midnight in Paris. It was Woody Allen at his best. I love the concept, the scenery, the wonderful understated Gil, and the fiance's obnoxious Republican parents. I will see it again.

Like a swoony lost chapter from "Paris, je t'aime" agreeably extended to feature length. Full Review

It is marvelously romantic, even though - or precisely because - it acknowledges the disappointment that shadows every genuine expression of romanticism. Full Review

Allen seems to be paying attention in a way he hasn't always done in recent films, and has found a way to channel his often-caustic misanthropy, half-comic fear of death and anti-American bitterness into agreeable comic whimsy. Full Review

Sheer pleasure to watch, full of rich visuals and felicitous comic turns. Full Review

The familiar dialogue here makes one long for something closer to the edginess of "Manhattan" or the offbeat humor of "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." Full Review
