It's implausible as hell, but no less fun for that. show more

Oscar-winning animator Brad Bird seems to have accomplished the impossible with the fourth Mission: Impossible installment by injecting the 15-year-old series with newfound, breathtaking energy. show more

It's not the generic plot that's so memorable, even though its convolutions are clever enough, or the cast of mostly interesting characters, but the surreal swirl of form and color that frequently fills the enormous screen. show more

Has a certain cartoonish vibe. That's OK, because Brad Bird's brand of toonage (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, Ratatouille) owes much to the rigors and traditions of live action, not only in the way he references other films, but also in his visual approach - sweeping, swooping camera pans, wide vistas, jolting perspective. show more

The only thing that's missing, in fact, is a soul. On the other hand, there's a good chance you'll get so caught up in what they're doing, you won't even notice how stiff and inhuman the actors appear. show more

The impact of spectacular action on striking international locales is moderated somewhat by the repetitive nature of the challenges faced by this rebooted team of American agents. show more

This film exists purely to dazzle and thrill, and by that measure, it delivers expertly, never lagging despite a lengthy 133-minute running time. show more

Of all the Tom Cruise Mission Impossible\'s this one\'s just about the best. Tom is looking older, but still gets the job done. Great action, movie keeps pulling you in. Turn your brain off and enjoy. Well worth it !

Eh, it was ok. Tom\'s getting old and the plots are getting weaker. Still if you can rent it for a buck it would be worth the time.

great action movie, in my opinion one of the best mission impossible from the first, great story, direction, and creativity. Outstanding performance from Simon Pegg, and action scenes exceedingly well especially the scene of the Kremlin, and climb the skyscraper in Dubai.

Great movie trailer! I loved this movie ************ it for the first time which was impressive. Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol has some of the best scenes yet. I\'m glad my Blu-ray DVDs come to my door using my Blockbuster @ Home service. This is where I get the best in home entertainment, with access to thousands of movies and TV shows. I don’t have to run out to the local Blockbuster, except when I want a quick exchange. While DVDs are sent to my door, I can still stream to the TV or my iPad. I’m happy my coworker at Dish told me about this se

A handful of scenes have impressive \"action/violence\" special effects, but I just couldn\'t get excited about this movie. If I were 12 years old, I might dig it. I was not impressed with the dialogue, plot, or characters. Actually, this was the first time, I recall, I really found myself not caring for the hero, Tom Cruise. He was awesome in Top Gun, Jerry Maguire, Vanilla Sky, and even MI2, but at least for me, this time, the whole movie (essentially, Tom Cruise) was pitiful. There, I said it. Sorry!
