You guys are looking into it waaaaayyyy too much. Comedy movies commonly "satire" things by making them appear dramatically different than they do in every day life. Hence the bumbling idiots in the political establishment in this movie. Chill, peeps. Its all fake anyway.

it was so overpoweringly anti government. the intelligent heads of military and president, were made out to be so retarded and ignorant. most of the effects were fun. the characters were interesting. I highly object to all the pollitically correct statements and implications and the stupifiying of the average american though.

My grandson and I went to this movie yesterday. Characters, plot, voices, etc were fine. One huge problem. No matter how we tried to view the movie through the glasses, which cost extra, the 3d effect was highly inconsistent. Every frame contained both clear, then fuzzy, then trippled, doubled, etc images!, then crystal clear again! Very distracting. We tried each others' glasses; same
