no matter what people say, im going to go see it again! so worth it.

THEY ARE RACAL .. THEY ONLY WANT WHITES .. I SAT THERE ONE NIGHT AND WATCHED THEM LET IN ALL THE WHITE PEOPLE WITH SAGGY PANTS IN THEY WANT ... THERE WORKERS THERE ARE DRESSED GETTO.. BUT DON'T LET PEOPLE IN .. DOUBLE STANDARDS

I too don't think the critics get it. This movie may turn out to be Kevin Costner's best yet. The intriguing twists and turns kept me glued to my seat thoughout. The delicious relationship between Costner and Hurt added to the immense fun. Look for this flick to become a classic. I loved it and will see it again.

Yup, Kevin Costner as a no-motive, no-reason other than "I'm an addict" serial killer. How cool! It's especially cool to watch a potential blackmailer (who took pictures while the first murder took place) slowly fades from menacing to passive. Demi Moore is also impressive as a rich, don't-need-the-job--because-I-am-rich detective who both admires Costner's work while also being resolved to stop The Thumbprint Killer as he has been called.Yes, it's a bit long but, just when you think it is over...it isn't... TWICE, so don't be getting ready to leave too early. The subplot about his slacker Paris Hilton daughter is intriguing and probably could have been explained a little better but let's just say the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. William Hurt is a knockout as Mr. Brooks' delightfully murderous conscience who urges him at most points to "go for it" but also shows some needed restraint when the cops are getting "too close". Definitely a summer hit!

good movie but not as good as the movie fracturei think he was so much more of a bad guy in thousand mile til graceland with kurt russel i give it a 5 out of ten

The movie was nices until the end. I remembered when I took literature classes. I hated to think why it ended that way. It should be left to guessing. I feel I should get my money back.

I loved Mr.Brooks ,the truth is that mr.brooks was different and what makes it scary is that we all know that there are people just like him out there...and he never got caught in any other movie he would of died, gotten killed by mr.smith the cops or his daugther but he didnt... but you know what i sit here proud of the fact that i saw this movie four times and ill watch it again ...ICE BERG OF DIFFERENCES...we all think act and express our selfs differently...and personally love this movie and give it FIVE STARS*****

This movie was a great movie as Kevin Costner and Will Hurt where great at there roles. Dane Cook I also thought did great. I wasn't in love with Demi Moore's charecter and I thought her part of the plot covered up for the daugther part which I really was the most interasted about how a seriel killer is a diease. The ending could have been a little better but it was still a great ending(I don't want to give away the ending so that why I'm not saying what I didn't like about it). But even with the ending you still know that something will happen. GO SEE THIS FILM IT IS A GOING TO BE A CLASSIC
