Son, The Lord has a sense of humor, but, I can assure you, that the Sex, Violence, and Foul Language of Today's Movies have him, Anything But Laughing. You Stated you're a Christian, but yet, do you truly believe that these are the kinds of movies / entertainment that Christ would choose; of Course NOT! A Christian, is a Disciple, of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, He accepts, Christ, He is Baptized, he receives the Holy Ghost, by the Laying on of Hands, He Lives the Commandments, and he walks the pathway of righteousness, shown him by the Lord, Do ALL THAT, And then, tell me how it feels to have some actor, take the name of the Father or the Son in Vain, or to, un knowingly Damn someone's soul to Hell, listen to those words, and after you have walked a mile in the shadow of your savior, and you will answer Very Differently, either about liking these movies, of being a Christian.

For those who complain about a movie have to much language and other stuff. THE MOVIE SAYS ON THE RATING WHAT TO EXPECT! HOW DOES GOING TO THIS MOVIE HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH RELIGON! All my friends(high school students) loved this movie and are tired of all parents saying all this bad stuff in reviews making so our parents think it is bad. People who comment on movies have no life and ya im commenting because I hurt my back and stuck at home. So stop whining and just stop going to movies if they are so bad.

How many times can we watch Thorton in the same freakin role of being an arrogant jerk that hates everyone? Think Bad Santa teaches gym class....but without any laughs.

I liked Mr. Woodcock, it was more entertaining than I would've gotten out of Good Luck Chuck. Billy Bob Thornton was funny and clever, Seann William Scott was absolutely hilirious. The movie was funny, but not the greatest comedy of 2008. I would see it again.

This trite take on testosterone and trouble had too few laughs to justify the ticket price. The language didn't offend me, but painting a crude and sadistic bully as some kind of hero did. Maybe Billy Bob Thornton played Mr. Woodcock too well, but the script alone seemed to render him entirely unlikable. This movie strives to be another raunchy, anti-hero comedy with a touching outcome, but it doesn't have the heart, writing or talent to pull it off. Watch "Meet the Parents" to see it done right.

Saw this movie in the theater and, while some parts were funny, it was hardly a great comedy. It was boring mostly and I can agree with the fact that Mr. Woodcock hitting the pothole and flipping over was probably the only part of the movie where the theater laughed out loud. Save your money and wait for it to come out on DVD if you're really curious. I wish I would have.

Ok, I can understand that YOU may not like cursing and sexual Humor. BUT some people do, I myself don't mind it, if its in the context of comedy, nothing is taboo. I myself am a Christian and Just a year out of being a Teenager, and while I have not seen this movie, From the looks of it, It seems like it would be a movie along the same lines of "Knocked Up" and "Superbad" (Both of which I found hysterical!) If cursing and sexual humor bother you so much, Stop wasting your money, and before you go to a movie, Read a family Review of the movie, one that explains how many times they curse, and how much nudity and such is in the movie, then if you feel that you would be offended or bothered by it. Dont go see it. But dont get on here telling us its blasphemy to see this movie, God has a sense of humor too
