Ok, loved the show but, who in the heck did the shooting on this film. Play it back and check them out eating in the coffee shop. How in the world... could someone make so many mistakes while shooting that. With a plate, without a plate... with a bite out of the muffin, without a bite of the muffin. It drove me crazy, there had to be 10 shots wrong, at the least and that was in a 4 to 5 minute time frame. Surely someone could have caught that while editing. I know nothing about it and I caught it. Full Review

I thought it would be better but wish now I would have went to see something else.
I have to say that I thought I'd probably enjoy the movie just because of the actors in it and the premise of the movie, but I did not, in any way,... xpect to laugh SO HARD, for SO LONG!!! Just seeing Hugh dance like that is hysterical!! He has a very good range of acting skills... Full Review
Really an enjoyable, light-hearted, feel good movie. Love the chemistry between Hugh

This appealing romantic comedy undertakes the conventions of the formula without an inordinate amount of clichs. Music also infuses the overall plot with a satire of the music industry, and the pop tunes and lyrics are catchy.Full Review
The film's a bit like a dessert that could have been dinner, particularly with so many winning elements (including songs by Fountains Of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger and a brief appearance from a wickedly sleazy Campbell Scott). But dessert isn't a bad thing either, particularly when it's prepared with this much heart.Full Review
Lawrence's take on pop music success is exactly right, satiric without being absurdist, and therefore a prize worth the effort.Full Review
The two generate more heart than they do heat, but that's the point. You want to see them together not just because they're adorable, but because you believe that their characters can take each other to a place neither could get to on their own.Full Review
Music and Lyrics is frequently appealing, often witty, and occasionally funny, but it's not going to convert skeptics and cynics into sentimentalists.Full Review
