I pity all the teens and young adults who watch this and think it's the real world - or that this is the hip way to act. Even more so, the thought scares me to death. According to this film, you should screw anything and everything, as often as possible, without the slightest thought given to responsibility, human connection or fatal disease - and put the pursuit of sex before anything else in life. Sad. An unrealistic, superficial script, and even worse direction.

my gosh..this movie will have you in stitches. LOL!!! some parts had my jaw dropping. I'm NOT often spooked like that in the movies. can't get better than Dane Cook's humor. Great cast and lots of laughs. Bring a friend because it's worth the laughs on the way home. lol Definitely worth box office ticket price. Will watch this one again on DVD for sure.

I really enjoyed this movie because I went to be entertained. I laughed throughout, and was impressed by the way they kept the story tied together. I recommend it for those who can loosen up a little, put away your pompus, righteous self and laugh. It was not meant to be taken seriously or win an Oscar, it was what it was... very funny and in a way some of you missed, it was about being willing to give it all for love.

"My Best Friend's Girl" was like a cross between the movies "Hitch" and "Anger Management". The plot was very predictable, but Dane Cook is an awesome comedian and was able to show some of that talent in this movie.

I thought this movie was very funny. The story of the best friend being hired by all these different people wouldn't really happen in real life, but it was entertaining.

i didnt like it because of the fact that sex does sell but it shouldnt..the more movies like this that come out makes it more and more "nomal" for people to watch nudity and sex casually. im 19 i dont think thats very old and i know that sex does sell but it shouldnt. its not right to watch two people having sex naked and think that its normal! but sadly people still try to make it normal :/

I agree with those that felt this movie was in poor taste. It really wasn't good at all & I am no prude. It just wasn't the romantic comedy i expected. I wish I had walked out & got my $ back.

If you disagree with someone's review, fine, state your disagreement. But your need to disparage the reviewer with insults like "douche" or "stop getting old" reveals only your own immaturity. Grown people can debate matters of opinion without resorting to personal attacks.

I can't believe so many people could be that offended by this movie. Yes, people in movies curse and yes, the whole idea was that he was a jerk on dates for a reason. These are the same people who can go to some intense war drama where people are being blown to bits and think "this is good wholesome entertainment" The movie was edgy, Kate Hudson was excellent as she showed different sides of her character and Dane Cook (well he can't really act, nor is he a very good comic) did well enough. The only problem was that the humor fell flat in many cases. But to be so offended? Come down off your pedestals.
