You would expect a much better film from such an experienced and well known director. It was not only hard to follow, and boring, the... acting was very sketchy. Not the least bit scary. There was not a good scene in the entire movie. Didn't make a whole lot of sense, being based on 16 year old children. Full Review

Yet one more movie that is advertised with scenes that are not even in the movie. In the trailer you see on TV you see a hand come out of the... ll and grab a guys face this never happens in the movie. This is a very disappointing film for being written and directed by Wes Craven. The film attempts to have some twists to the story like scream and fails miserably. The acting is bad, the 3D is a waste of money and the movie just straight lags at points. From a scale of 1-10 this movie gets a 4 definitely SKIP THIS FILM Full Review

There are plenty of formulaic boo! moments, yet Craven intelligently treats Bug's otherworldly issues like hormonal growing pains that must be tamed.Full Review

The picture is directed with such a loose, slack hand that you'd think Craven had never directed a slasher-thriller before: I didn't jump once; I never even felt vaguely scared or creeped out.Full Review
